In last months' Estel Tech monthly newsletter, we surveyed Estel Tech Anywhere users to learn more about their web and mobile app data integration challenges. We wanted to understand what data sources they saw as priorities in their 2017 app development projects.
We asked:
"Which data source(s) are you looking to integrate into your web and mobile business apps?"Not surprisingly, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, MySQL, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle and Amazon were mentioned frequently. We realize that these sources are pervasive in business and we continually work to add features around these sources. For example, we actually recently released new client and server-side report writing that leverages Microsoft SQL Server reporting services, and we blogged that a big 2017 trend was "The Incredible SQL Comeback."
In the latest survey we also saw increased interest in popular business applications such as Salesforce, Tableau, Qliktech and Xero. In addition, a range of Google apps, such as Google BigTable and Google Calendar, also appeared as priorities for Estel Tech Anywhere developers.
We're also starting to see some new sources appear, including: Myob and Zoho.
We believe application data integration is a key element of Estel Tech Anywhere's DNA. Capabilities like our Flying Start Genie make connecting to data - one of he most important and difficult aspects of app development - much easier. We appreciate our customers taking the time to answer the March web and mobile app data integration survey and encourage users to continue to share feedback with us on how they're using and connecting to data in their apps. It's one of the ways we're able to keep Estel Tech Anywhere in tune with what you need to be successful.
